different colors for different situations. which is the night? which is the day? bah.

bg's time!

Our background artist Giorgio Campioni made the first still of the series. This illustration will be used in the first episode - three little pigs. Giorgio worked in photoshop and we'll use the levels to animate the scene. It'll be a zoom in. The closest object will move faster and will become darker than the others...et voilà!

following our goal to describe the taratatales' world, an other step's gone.

Following the pre-storyboard indications, alessandra sorrentino is working on the second episode storyboard. her first illustrations are amazing. well done!

Here we are! working on the pre-storyboard it's a very intresting thing. We have to recite and to time all the the conversations and the actions. Hollywood here we come!

Compositing

Work with layers. Holly molly we are very clever, if we use these pines in a single layer we can use them also in other stages.

turnaround

Today we compled our work on the series bible.
Here we have 23 characters and a couple of backgrounds regarding the school and the classroom.

We have to thank the two artists who made for us the characters' turnaround: lorenzo de pretto and libero ermetti.

this is a rough to send to the storyboard artist who will create expressions, poses, camera movements and other magic things.

Giuseppe made this background. He loves walking between nature and animals so for him it's a pleasure to reproduce them.

turin club - pre production part two

A delightful frozen coffee under the Mole Antonelliana in Torino. We met two new friends Alessandra and Alfredo, the ones that will help us to realize the storyboards. They are absolutely two incredible artists! We are so excited.

We've 26 fairy tales.
Do we need 26 writers?
Not at all, 4 is the right number!
So, our scripting team is composed by Giuseppe Ferrario, Demetrio Bargellini, Alex Crippa and Valentina Mazzola. I'll post their photo as soon as possible.

the bell rings

Telling fairy tales is the primary aim of the series.
The second is to make it in a modern way.
The third is to have the story told by the protagonists in the first person.
